I'm Liza Pesenson and I thrive when I'm interacting with users to understand how their motivations, expectations, and behaviors influence their interactions with technology and their environments. Fueled by a passion for designing services and products that people love to use, I gained practical knowledge as a User Experience Research Assistant and a Master's student in Cognitive Science. I am an enthusiastic collaborator with experience leading and working on cross-functional teams.
TrenTour is a mobile application which aims to improve the tourist experience in the Trentino region of Italy. I was responsible for a proof-of-concept case study with elementary school children as well as design and evaluation of pedagogical game elements. This was my Master's Thesis project.
A project which used user research to understand level of awareness and subjects’ feelings about mobile privacy and its risks. This was my main project for the internship I completed during my Master's studies.
ACTAG is a web impact calculator and sticky tag creator for environmentally conscious people who want to increase awareness of the environmental impact of our actions and make sense of lots of different kinds of hidden data at a glance. This web app was thought of and prototyped during a 48-hour Global Service JAM on a six-person team.
